Background
The Constantine She-Wolf coin (officially the Urbs Roma type) is a bronze Roman coin issued around 330–340 AD by Constantine the Great to commemorate the founding of Constantinople and honor the legacy of Rome. It features the goddess Roma on the obverse and the she-wolf suckling twins Romulus and Remus on the reverse.
